Chromegabond BAS (Basic ) C8, C18, Phenyl, or Cyano is prepared using the same bonding technology and ultra high purity silica as AquaSep columns, but in a lower surface area silica. In addition, it is available in a 3 micron particle size. It exhibits high aqueous stability and excellent base deactivation characteristics. Unfortunately, it does not retain low molecular polar compounds as well as AquaSep.
