Chromenta BB series HPLC columns are designed for large biomolecule separations such as proteins and peptides. The BB HPLC columns are packed with type-B ultrapure silica particles (purity > 99.999%) with metal content less than 10 ppm with the same chemistry as the KB series. Proprietary packing technology further enhances uniform column media distribution to minimize channeling effects. We have wide selection of bonded phases including C18, C8, C4, and phenyl-propyl, all double end-capped to further minimize tailing. The entire bonding, end-capping and packing process is strictly controlled and monitored, to ensure excellent performance, long lifetime, and exceptional batch-to-batch reproducibility.
