HighSelect C8 phases are high purity spherical silica fully covered by mono-layer C8 with end-capping. As compared to C18 phase, the uniform C8 phase allows high efficiency with lower hydrophobicity, suitable for separating compounds with a wide range of hydrophobicity. The small particle sizes with a narrow particle size distribution provide high resolution leading to high purity and yield.
