Hyper Silica is made of activated hydroxyl (-OH) functional group on the high purity spherical silica. The Hyper Silica is used as the normal phase as well as HILIC phase for separations of polar and basic organic compounds, such as vitamins, steroids, as well as pharmaceuticals. The column has been widely used in LC/MS method development for analysis of nitrogen contained compounds.
